THis was too funny...Here is a Guy from Channel 3 news...he dressed up as a nurse and was causing a traffic backup...LOL



We started our evening at California Pizza Kitchen w/ Zach and michelle....then we proceeded to trick or treat throughout Town Center where they were having a costume contest...the weather was perfect and we had alot of laughs...Radio Disney was also there and as you can see in the photos the girls had a great time dancing to the music...Hope everyone else had a happy halloween...now my favorite holiday is getting closer... CHRISTMAS!!!! But first we get to spend Thanksgiving w/ Shon since he is home for a 3 week visit..YEAH!!!!

OH NO!!! I seemed to have lost something.....





Well this weekend we started to prepare for Halloween...We went to the boo zoo at the Virginia Zoo where they had Trick or treating, hayrides, costume contest, and lots of fun....then tonight we carved our pumpkins for Halloween Night...the kids took such effort to create just the right image on their pumpkin and they were so proud of the finished product....Way to go KIDDOS!!!

The kids love spending every waking minute outside now that the weather has changed....we love to be outside riding bikes and using sidewalk chalk, playing w/ the neighbors, sweeping the leaves.....Well today I had a task to take care of inside that I needed the smaller ones outside our from under my feet so karlee took them outside to burn some energy...they started riding bikes and skooters...that became boring so they put the two little ones in the wagon and hitched it to the back of karlee's bike...I reminded them to go slow and they said " ok MOM" well about 15 min. later they come back to the house one is crying and upset and the other thinks she has just had the best time...they were going a little too fast and tipped the wagon into a lovely mud puddle that had formed by the rain from the past evening...they both now have a few bandaids on them but everyone is ok, we have learned a lesson and my nerves have finally settled...the joys of being mom all by myself.....shon we can't wait for you to return for your visit...so my nerves can rest a little....they are on overload some days...but I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.......

Our Childrens music Director is From south africa and he has been having problems getting his green card...well he had to make the hard decision to leave the Great USA to go back to south africa to work on it from there because his time was up here...so about 200 people showed up to remember the great work this man did not only for our children, but our church and as a friend...you will be missed Garth but not forgotten and it's not GOODBYE for good...we will be seeing you soon...my children have been very close to him as a friend for 2 1/2 years and we have had many laughs w/ him can't wait to hear about the missions he will be doing while he is in S. Africa...please pray for this wonderful man that he would do great work while he is there but that he is able to return to the one place he truly wants to be COASTAL COMMUNITY CHURCH...

We were so proud of Pation today..he has really been unsure of the fact that he can learn to ride his bike...so our friend michelle decided to take a turn and take him for a go...he did so well took a few spills and is still learning to use the brake...but in all he got the hang of it...WHOOHOO
