HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ABIGAYL/FATHERS DAY
I love going down the slide....birthday kisses XOXO
Aibgayl's birthday fell on fathers day this year...how special is that...it was so neat for shon to be home and not only spend fathers day with his children but also celebrating abigayl's 3rd birthday...he asked her what she wanted to do on her day and she said "CHUCK E. CHEESE" so we spent the day there after church and then came home and celebrated with neighbors eating her cake and ice cream...She loves Mickey mouse clubhouse these days so that was the theme for the cake I made for her and also we had found a dress at the disney store and she really really wanted it so she wore that on her special day...she has been such a blessing to us in so many ways...

End of the year Luau
We decided that since the kids did so well in school this year that we would throw them an end of the year party....so we decided on a luau theme since the pool opened a few weeks before that...we had Wii, swimming, good food, fabulous company and shon took pation and two of his friends to a tides game since he didn't think he would want to hang around with a bunch of girls....
End of school year......
They threw pies at pics of their teachers....

Well we have come to another end of another school year....this year went faster I think because shon was gone.......at their assemblies maegan and mackenzie picked up some great awards....
Maegan picked up Honor Roll for the year, an academic excellence award and a VERY special math award that was awarded to only one student in 7th grade...WHOOHOO it was so special that shon was able to be there to see that....
Mackenzie picked up honor roll for the year, a word masters award, perfect attendence for the 4th quarter, and a chorus award.....
Karlee didnt pick up any awards this year but brought home good grades and did very well in her drama academy...
Mackenzie attended a new school this year since we moved into our new home...she really enjoyed it and they do alot for their rising 6th graders...she participated in a fun day just for 5th graders which included sack races, volleyball, pie throwing, pie eating, food ,fun and fellowship with her other fellow 5th graders....they also gave them a little ceremony on friday which was so special....it made me sad though because my kids are are growing up too fast...it's hard to believe we have a 10th grader, 8th grader, 6th grader, 1st Grader, and two in preschool....I too am looking into starting school in the fall....WOW all of this and shon will be deploying in sept. for 7 1/2 mo.

Fun at dinner time...
Shon and I were highly entertained at dinnertime when the wait staff would do little shows...
OUR FIRST VACATION!!!!!
Shon arrived home mid may and we were able to go on our first ever vacation together in 16 years of marriage (this Sept. ) So we chose to take a cruise From Ft. Lauderdale to Key west, Cozumel and Belize...5 days ALL BY OURSELVES!!!! boy was that an experience...we had many neat and new adventures like rock climbing, horseback riding, seeing neat shows, trying a hand at gambling, snorkeling, meeting new people and seeing new places.... it was fun to spend time together and not to have to get up and tend to a bunch of little ones needs.. just relax.....That is where my dad comes in WHAT A BLESSING!!!!I couldn't ask for a better dad...he was such a trooper to come and stay with the kids....I know it was an experience for him but hopefully a joyful one...
MAY
May brought us alot of happy and sad times....We had end of year concerts, picnics w/ preschool, Mothers day was special for me this year as I was able to spend it with some of my other mom friends who's husbands were deployed...Mackenzie recieved Student of the month and also celebrated her 11th birthday...but one of the biggest moments for them was welcoming home Shon mid month...I don't think anything could top that for them....

Easter (March)
We took a family trip up to Michigan to spend time with family...everyone was there and the kids had a wonderful time...it makes us sad though that we are not able to do this on more frequent occasions.....but the times we do get to spend together are fun and enjoyable...and fun great memories are made...This time it was Easter and the kids all decorated eggs together, hunted for them together and we were able to have easter dinner together as a family which was wonderful...we also got to meet my new nephew Karter what a doll and Celebrate Kaitlins 1st birthday with everyone...we also made a trip to the science museum which the kids really enjoyed .. it was amazing to see how much everyone had grown....Hugs to everyone we miss you all and think of you everyday...
A new family member...(March)
Well kaya our black cat had become very lonely being the only cat in the home so we made the decision to bring in a new family member...his name is Meeko...and you can probably see why...he is a siamese and tabby mix with his markings creating a mask across his face...so when it came time for the kids to give him his name that came up with meeko like the raccoon from pocohontas....he is such a joy to have around and Kaya is finally accepting him...
